New English Translation
26 They hauled out the sacred pillar of the temple of Baal and burned it. 27 They demolished[a] the sacred pillar of Baal and[b] the temple of Baal; it is used as[c] a latrine[d] to this very day. 28 So Jehu eradicated Baal worship[e] from Israel.
